Over the Easter holidays we have had 2 very successful Junior Golf days, with sessions on both days split into aged 9 and under and aged 10 and above.

As a result of the success of these events, we have had more than 30 plus juniors come along and join us and with Daniel Martinez-Perez’s support and structured coaching, going forward, we are reinstating two very important elements here at Portal Golf Club.

• *Junior academy coaching classes *will begin again after 4 years and there is a
• Portal Junior golfing section (new) at the golf club!

Both of these things are super exciting for the future of junior golfers in the area.

So, to kick things off we have the Junior academy classes beginning on Sunday 31st May.

These weekly classes during term time are on Sundays:

• 12.00  5-9 year olds 45min class £57 - 6 credits
• 13.00  10 year olds and above 60min class £75 - 6 credits

Each attendance uses a credit, no class no credit used, no attendance no credit used.

Credits last 6 months - non transferable & are used on Sunday classes only. It’s that simple.

Davie and Patti will then be holding monthly comps for both age groups with the first ones taking place on the 28th June 2026 after the respective academy sessions.
