The Organisation of the Seniors' Section and the Arrangements of its Competitions has now been condensed into two documents. The latest version of the Protocol and Arrangements for Competitions along with Welcome and Officers' Responsibilities and 2024 Roll Up Organisers' Schedule are now available - see Seniors' Useful Information page
UPDATE 1 of the draw for the 2024 - 25 edition of the Chris Triggs Trophy is shown below
Still waiting on 8 players to pay the entrance fee!!!!
This competition is to be played off of the Red tees. In line with the Seniors' winter roll-ups, the following should be applied:
- there are changes to the Stroke Index on holes 4 and 6 - the 4th will become SI 16, and the 6th will become SI 4.
- the 4th hole will be played from the mat at the bottom of the hill, and will be a Par 3.
- Preferred lies 'in the General Area'
Use 100% of your Course Handicap to calculate shots given/received. Please use the Men's Red tee course handicap on the board - this will be different to the winter roll-up handicap but will ensure that the difference used for the match is correct.
First named person to arrange match.
2nd Round to be played by 23 December
Yellow Ball Competition
Over 70 have signed up for the evening do at Coast being organised by Pat.
There is also the small matter of a game of golf in the morning.
It will be a yellow ball competition with a 'balanced draw'. This means it will be potentially awkward to consider requests for early or late tee times but if you advise the Organiser Steve when you sign up he will do his best for you.
Late requests cannot be accommodated. We often get a good turnout so a relatively early first tee may be required, say 7.30.
Please let Organiser Steve know if you wish to play - you may use the Contact Form below.
UPDATE on DINNER
Bookings for the party have now reached 71. This is the provisional maximum agreed with Coast so Pat cannot accept any more bookings at the moment.
If you are still interested in coming but have not booked yet Pat is happy to start a RESERVES list. It is possible that a few of those who have booked may have to pull out before payment is taken mid November and Pat is also visiting Coast later this week to see whether a different table configuration might help us squeeze a few more places.
Thank you to all those who have already booked and are planning to join us to support the event*
