We feel it an honour and a privilege to be your captains for 2026 and wish to extend our appreciation to our fellow members for their nominations and continued support.
We say a heartfelt thank you to the many members who have freely given their time and effort to make our club the efficient, friendly and enjoyable facility that they have helped develop over the past thirty five years.
Our representative teams have enjoyed much success in recent years with the gents winning the Peter Wright league outright in 2025, the ladies again reaching the semi-finals of The Percival Trophy and both ladies teams finishing 2nd in their Shield groups. We wish them and all our club representatives many more successful campaigns in 2026.
A great feature of our club is that the membership and staff extend a genuine warm welcome to new members and visitors alike and there is real encouragement to play competitions, general play with other members and in our social and charitable events.
All three of our courses are very interesting and we never tire of the stiff challenges that they present. The expansive and elegance of the Championship, the rolling parkland Premier and the 9 hole Arderne, each offer the golfer something quite different.
You will enjoy our magnificent views across the Cheshire plane to the Peak District, the Welsh Hills, see church spires, Jodrell Bank, castles and much more.
Each year our membership give most generously to a number of charities, and we are proud to announce that in 2026 we will be working with the below Charities and making great efforts to raise funds for children with Special Needs in the local Tarporley area. If you feel able, we would be delighted to welcome you on board and to receive any support, physical, financial or otherwise that you may wish to contribute.
Many thanks, here's to a safe a rewarding years golf and we trust we will see you soon.
Our Chosen Charity is for special educational needs children in Tarporley and the local community, working with the Variety Club and Macdonalds to provide benefits for them. Further information on the charity will appears on the Captains charity page soon.
