On behalf of the members and staff we are delighted to warmly welcome you to Portal Golf Club.

We are privileged to play at one of the best golfing venues in Cheshire and the North West. The Premier and Championship Courses are both challenging and a great test of all areas of golf and for those who prefer a shorter course, or specifically want to sharpen their short game skills, there is the excellent 9 hole Arderne course.

All courses are well maintained and generally open throughout the year.

There are some spectacular holes on the courses with views across the whole of Cheshire and beyond on a clear day.

The membership is very friendly and supportive and anyone wishing to play the courses will find they are made to feel right at home.

We have strong Men’s, Ladies and Seniors sections and you’ll always find someone to pass the time with, in the clubhouse which provides a full range of food and hot and cold beverages.

We are proud of Portal Golf Club and would highly recommend any of the three courses to people looking for a great day out or weekend away. Packages are provided for social as well as golfing events through the Macdonald Portal Hotel & Spa website.
