Club Officials
Mr President

Pat & his wife Jackie moved to Cheshire in 1997. Pat played more after retirement & decided to rejoin the club when Jackie was Lady Captain in 2012, becoming Captain himself in 2016.

I'm passionate about the Club & wishes to support the Captains in any way he can, on & off the course.

The Wingate Centre

Brightening the Lives of Children with Disabilities

Captain's Charity

This year both Captain's have come together to jointly support The Wingate Centre.

The Wingate Special Children’s Trust is a disability charity for children and young people based in Wrenbury, near Nantwich, Cheshire.

We offer accommodation and welcome visitors from specialist schools, primary schools and voluntary and support organisations from across the UK.

Our accommodation is suitable for groups of 8-40. We have 22 light and airy twin-bedded rooms and all the specialist bathrooms and equipment that you need, including profile beds. We offer full board. We also have a sensory room which is a calming yet stimulating atmosphere to help develop the senses and is well loved by the people that use it.

We have a Gymnasium which provides fun fitness for all abilities through a variety of sport and recreational activities which help improve core skills such as balance, co-ordination and communication. Our experienced and friendly gym coaches offer tailored exercise sessions, rebound therapy, 1-2-1 sessions, group sessions, and an after school sports club. We also offer dance and drama workshops, arts and crafts and we have a forest school.

We also have a café which is open to the public Monday to Thursday and is all home cooked produce. This is a new venture for us and so far is proving to be really popular. We also have a recreation hall known as the Rieber Hall which is an ideal space for crafts, parties, dance and drama or fitness classes. It has a light and sound system, large screen for DVD and Wi-Fi, musical instruments, table football, pool and table tennis table and a specially equipped kitchen.

We are very lucky and have 3 acres of safe and secure gardens to explore and play in including an adventure playground, wheelchair roundabout, sensory trail and a picnic area.

We raise/need £300,000 a year and have no Government funding.
